Revisiting Eugène Delacroix's painting "Liberty leading the people" (1830), Philippe Boonen represents the big coming back of Mother Nature. The human explotation of earth resources already made huge damages and now nature is here to take back what belongs to her. Therefore, the horse standing in the middle of the image is holding a white flag with a blue dot representing planet earth, ignoring the established political borders. This large painting wants to serve as a critic to human individualism and fictional "supremacy" over nature.
